Cycloid machines invert cured no-bake molds and draw them from their pattern. Molds weighing more than a ton can be handled safely, quickly and without damage. The unique design allows use in installations requiring in-line or line-to-line mold conveyor layouts. Reliable, pressure compensated hydraulics and a positive non-cantilevered structure ensure smooth, low maintenance operation.
A programmed high-to-low frequency vibration sequence gently frees the mold as it is drawn from the pattern after completion of rollover. After drawing, the bottom board with its mold board, is rolled out of the machine. The Cycloid then returns to its original position where the empty pattern is rolled out for refilling.
Two Cycloid models are offered with capacities of 1000 lbs and 2500 lbs (455 kg and 1136 kg). In addition to the basic models, a cycloid rollover can be designed and built to meet your specific requirements.
All rollovers are built with important construction features:
- Each rollover comes completely assembled; anchoring, hydraulic and electrical connections are all that is required.
- Installation can be performed on floor surface . . . no pit required.
- The 230 or 460 volt / 3 phase / 60 cycle hydraulic system is completely pre-piped and mounted on the hydraulic reservoir
- Reservoir is complete with all filters, sight gauges and pressure relief valves for system operation
- The control system is built in a rugged NEMA 12 cabinet that is equipped with a disconnect control
- All starters, relays and timers are terminal-stripped and wired for easy installation
- The main control system is pedestal mounted with emergency stop buttons and both manual and automatic mode buttons with indicator lights
- The electrical system comes with a deadman switch for safer operation
