for Single or Varied Loads

Compaction / Vibration of sand in cores and molds has become a necessity with today's fast-setting binders. To maintain peak production efficiency, the sand mix must be distributed evenly, and tightly before it sets. There's no time for inefficient hand work ... no excuse for  casting defects or faulty finishing.

Operation Sequence
Carver compaction tables are built to withstand the most rugged treatment . . . designed to be used in systems where core boxes and / or molds move onto the table via gravity, top roller conveyor. By actuating a foot treadle and / or selector switch, grizzly bars raise the mold off the roller conveyor at which time an electric vibrator is actuated and compaction occurs. After compaction, the cycle is reversed.

Air stroke actuators serve a dual purpose in Carver compaction tables. They transmit all vibration into the grizzly bars directly under the cores or molds. Also, they isolate the vibratory action from the main frame of the table.

Solid state controlled DC motor can be varried as each mold or core box moves onto the table. Full vibration for maximum loads . . . reduced vibration depending upon the size of smaller ones. Each mold or core box is handled individually. Units include operator-controlled vibration intensity and duration. They use an elevating vibratory structure which rises from between a fixed set of rollers.

Size Range
Compaction table are available pre-set for single loads or with a vari-load capability. Roller conveyors can be powered or the compaction table top can be the flat-deck design.

Carver Vari-Load Compaction Tables are available in four standard load capacities of 2,000 lbs (907 kg), 3,000 lbs (1361 kg), 5,000 lbs (2268 kg) and 8,000 lbs (3629 kg).

Special conveyors, sizes and capacities can be designed for your specific needs.
