The Maxi/Mul Series continuous mixer provides high speed mixing with all popular binders, including three part systems. Its simple reliable design features a single mixing screw and single direct-drive motor to cut operational costs while providing efficient, reliable mixing action. This mixer is ideal for applications such as small to medium size no-bake cores and molds, or as a sand supply for core machines.
Synchronization of sand and binder flow are all under the control of a solid state PLC system. Sand is pre-blended with the first binder part, then a moment later, the second and third parts are introduced. This ensures that rapidly setting binder systems can be efficiently utilized and that quality sand is available at the push of a button.
When mixing stops, sand is automatically discharged with zero sand retention in the mixing tube.
A programmable controller with pre-set timers makes set-up for different mixtures fast and easy with assured repeatability.
A foolproof semi-automatic calibration feature lets the operator select and accurately measure sand or binder flow for a predetermined time period, thus eliminating calibration inaccuracy.
The Maxi/Mul is offered in six models with capacities from 50 to 500 lbs/min and with single arm or extended reach configuration. Other features include: automatic purge for zero retention, premium sand quality from start-to-finish, and optional SPEEDLOCK pump control.
