These machines produce molds by curing a hardened layer (or shell) of resin coated sand directly on a heated pattern for castings requiring exceptional surface finish.
Dependable shell mold machines are complete systems including: heating control for pattern plates and curing the reverse sides of molds; rollover for investing the pattern with coated sand; ejectors for stripping the mold away from the pattern and automatic retractor forks (on standard model) for removing the mold from the machine.
STANDARD MODEL
This automatic, hydraulically powered machine can accommodate patterns approximately 20 in. X 30 in. X 6 in. (500 mm X 750 mm X 150 mm) high.
SIMPLI-MOLD
Also offered is a smaller, semi-automatic machine for use with patterns up to 15 in. X 20 in. X 7 in. (375 mm X 500 mm X 178 mm) high.
