Redford Hot Process Core Machines are manufactured in 17 models with the largest capable of producing solid shell cores up to 200 lbs (92 kg). These machines will operate with all popular hot box, warm box and shell processes. Natural gas or bottled gas may be used for heating. Automatic dual temperature control is included.
Redford hot process machines are available for dedicated use with either horizontally or vertically parted coreboxes. They feature automatic operation of the core producing cycle, including blowing, heating/curing, ejection and mechanized core removal on selected models. Hot process cores provide fast cycle times, high core density, good dimensional accuracy and high tensile strength. Shell cores are produced using separate blow and drain systems (including automatic sand return) for efficient production of even the most intricate cores.
HP Models produce smaller cores using shell, hot box or warm box processes. Simple, reliable, semi-automatic operation of HP models is ideal for use with the same core production work as our smaller HS models, but where production needs are limited.
